When I first started hosting, I was looking for chairs and Costco had some decent low-back folding chairs with a bit of cushion on them. I only added a few chairs at a time to since my game started small (it also kept the budget reasonable!).

Before I could complete my set, the high-back chairs pictured below came into stock and I added a couple to the table. Much better padding, higher quality, and most importantly better back support!

Here is the fun part and why I love being a Costco member – I went in this week and strolled by the chairs since my game is growing again. On sale for $15! I picked up some more and thought, “what if Costco let me return those low back chairs so all my chairs can be high back?” So I asked Costco and they said “HECK YES”! I was able to do an even swap more than a year later and now have 17 high back chairs! Thanks, Costco!

Ps. They are still on sale until the 20th if you are looking for some great chairs! The sign says there’s a 5 chair limit but I didn’t have any issue going through self-checkout.

I got a couple of these for a good deal as well. I like them the most out of all of the mixed chairs I use haha

This is a side-by-side before I replaced the low backs next to a high back. The difference is huge and definitely makes a game feel more comfortable.

Oh, this forum is dangerous. First, I thought I’d just pick up a few chips—harmless enough, right? Fast forward a bit, and now I’ve got multiple chip sets, 2 tourney sets, and I don’t play tourneys, multiple table toppers, a couple of Barrington tables, and now I’m out shopping for extra chairs. I signed up to buy chips, not remodel my game room.

At this point, I’m should be happy I don’t need a building permit…:)

I saw the warnings from other members when I first joined and thought they were being sarcastic. Now I know they weren’t.
