Ok so, I have pulled the trigger on a poker table and am deciding on chairs. Where I ordered from (bbo) has chairs as an addon that nicely match the table. I got the table with the tabletop cover with the expectation that, in addition to regular poker games, I can also host board game night occasionally and this picture looked slick. Now my dilemna. I want these chairs to be comfortable for like 3-5 hr poker sessions. Do you think they would be?

My priority of features in a chair are:

1. comfort (think suburban dad lower back support)
2. ease of use at the poker table (eg no arms, maybe wheels?)
3. style as it matches the table (where the picture above looks nice)
4. resale value (if I ever move or change my mind on chairs - hopefully don't)

BBO also had these other options that might be more comfortable (not sure) even though they match the table less:

I also looked at chairs outside of BBO (not tied to buying from them) at a more office chair herman miller style without arms (kind of pricey though, like $400-$500/chair)

and this other poker looking roller

I have also herd Gassers mentioned on this forum

Rip me apart - tell me what I am missing and what poker chairs I should get to match. The table felt will be black arm rest and black suite speed cloth with a gold bet line and some table lighting on the felt. Chairs/poker table will be in a carpeted room.

What chairs do you guys like?

Those poker rollers at the bottom of your post would be luxurious for the sessions you want to have. Gassers are also top notch. While the bbo chairs look nice they also look thin.

Should have mentioned, the BBO chairs around $280 a chair. Would like to stay around that range for budget. What do the Gasser chairs run?

Used good gassers can be found for anywhere between 20 and 100 dollars each. New Gassers 300 to 400 I think. Use the search function here to find posts with photos.

Used Gassers or similar run about $30 to $50 each and won't break the bank. Also caught a sale at Office Depot for leather chairs with casters for $60 each a couple years back. Do your research and be patient. Labor Day is coming up and I'm willing to wager that there's going to be a sale on something good. $300/chair is too much. I better be getting a massage every time I sit in it for that amount.

The chairs in your original photo look like a wood base with a thin foam pad, and a vinyl or leather cover. I wouldn’t expect them to be comfortable for long seating sessions.
The chair in your last photo looks very similar to the ones that @Venturalvn got new for less than $120 each. Here’s the thread:

Can 100% confirm that you don't want those wooden base chairs. Definitely prefer the gassers– which, as others have pointed out, can usually be found on sale.

Don't buy this chair for poker, and unless you're a skinny male, I would not go for this chair, the hard plastic (feels like metal) cuts off circulation sitting in it for more than an hour or so. The side come up and suppose to hug your thighs but it cuts into them because its too small, maybe I'm just too big (fat!)

They did allow me to return it no questions asked.

I love Herman Miller and if you want to buy a chair for a normal sized guy, this is the chair you're looking for, but for 1900 I wouldn't buy 9 or 10 of them. I do have this chair and I love it, it is what I use at my desk for my home office. I've also picked up an old man butt pad from Purple ... I use this chair 14 - 18 hours a day.

Herman Miller makes fat guy chairs. Ask me how I know.

We use Hon office chairs that I scored for free from a client that went out of business. They have wheels and arms but we can still fit 10 around my 10-person table without too much crowding. We ususally play 6-8 people so very comfortable. See if any businesses you know in your area (or with which you might have a realtionship) might be closing up shop. Most have reasonable quality office chairs and maybe you can score some relatively cheap (or even free). Comfortable chairs make all the difference in the world and getting the Hon chairs was a hug upgrade from the standard stacking banquet chairs we used before.

These are what you want...

I have a similar design from Pharaoh and they are top notch.

The Alibaba link is your best bet. $120/chair. A similar design from Pharaoh was $300/chair.
