The World Series of Poker and card manufacturer Copag announced a multi-year deal Thursday that will bring the card brand back to the world’s largest poker festival.

The cards will be in play for the start of the 2016 WSOP beginning in Las Vegas on May 31. “A unique set of playing cards” will be used for the $10,000 buy-in main event that starts on July 9, a press release said.

“Putting quality playing cards on the tables at the WSOP is one of the most important elements of the entire event,” WSOP Executive Director Ty Stewart said in a statement. “We’re extremely pleased that Copag, given their track record to successfully supply some of the top poker tournaments in the world, will be the World Series of Poker partner in 2016 and beyond.”

The move back to Copag comes the year after some top poker pros were complaining about the 2015 WSOP playing cards, which were provided by Italian card manufacturer Modiano. Players were concerned that the cards were too thin for use.

The new deal with Copag was met with mostly warm reaction from the poker community.
