2024 WSOP schedule dropped (3 Viewers)

So 12.50 base + $15/20 per down (half hour downs?) so about $40-50 an hour?
yep. Pretty good for dealing tournies all day. when we're on break, no downs (but free food!). on the spectrum of games to deal, I'd have to say the series is the nuts. Or big buyin tournies in general. It's not like grinding small cash games where you're constantly begging players to put out blinds and have to remind half the table to act when its their turn. No babysitting required for the wsop. Just pitch the cards out and players take care of the rest.

I watched the final table of last years Seniors (50+) NLHE $1k and it seemed ridiculously soft. I don’t think it’s in the cards for me this year, but I definitely need to get into that event some year soon.

Really excited to see the schedule. Very pleased with bust out options. Played 8 game last year and it was very very fun.

Looks like I’ll be there 7/5- 7/11.

Bellagio booked 7/7 - 7/11 , tbd 7/5, 7/6

At the poker room there was discussion that all NLHE events are 8-handed by default. I didn’t see this on schedule, has anyone heard this rumor and have a source? Would be nice if true!

I think they’re 10 handed. There are events where they specially call out 8 handed which I wouldn’t expect if they were all that way.

i thought about auditioning this year but just got a FT position at my casino so probably wont be this year

The double board bomb pot tourney. @TheRealTeddyKGB ready for that one?!
Has anybody heard any details on this one? It’s a $1500 NLHE/plo double board bomb pot. Does that mean every hand is a double board bomb pot? Alternating orbits of each game? I’d assume the bomb pot amount increases as blinds would? You think the amount of the PLO bomb blind would be lower than the NLHE?
Crazy stuff

I haven't seen anything but it's going to be wild.

I was looking at this last night...have you seen the list of games for the Dealer's Choice? o_O

Pot limit Holdem? I can’t imagine the point of that, or how it would play differently from no limit
With smaller bets (compared to 15 years ago), yeah, wouldn't be much difference. Pot limit would somewhat contain preflop shoves though.

That’s a great point. But how does one adjust to that? By not getting short? Ha!
So if you’re down to 15 bigs and you’re UTG, the most you could put in is 7bb, so are you better off limping? Hmm, that would be weird.
And now I’m fascinated.
