Compression clay manufacturers - let me get this straight (1 Viewer)

Were the George & Co chips (for example the Md-72 “flower mold”) not compression clay? I can’t seem to find a definitive answer online. Sets of them pop up for sale around me a few times a year, and I never know if I should be trying to acquire them or not.
