Thank you for clarifying. I almost choked, cuz this is not what I understand "blackjack index" to be. Whew!

Every time I hear "blackjack index" I think about Tech Art indexes with the 4 indexes on the aces and the raised index on the 10 and court cards. You know, the index made for the blackjack peek devices.

But Desjgn "blackjack index" is not Tech Art/peek device compatible, and I originally misunderstood that.

You can think of "blackjack index" as "plus sized standard" index or "petite sized jumbo" index. A "happy medium" index, if you will.

Still, Tech Art/peek device compatible cards from Desjgn to actually play blackjack would be baller. Sadly, I know there would not be enough interest.

Not really but it's a compromise between the people that still want Standard index but have an odd aversion to Jumbo index. Blackjack index is a little easier for old eyes to read but still would prefer Jumbo index.

For me it’s a bit about the index size (easier to see, especially at poorly lit tables), but it’s more about the larger sized artwork, especially the face cards. Best of both worlds.

I’m a poker sized guy, in general, and I do prefer standard index from an aesthetic standpoint, but using standard index on a full size table is just a death wish. So poker size jumbo for NLHE is my preferred.

Bridge size blackjack index is the perfect combo for a mixed game table with 7 or fewer players where you’re gonna have lots of hole cards, in my opinion.

Decided to go with 2 bridge and 1 poker size sets in each color combo. Might end up unloading 1 bridge set of each color eventually. Maybe.
