Thank you for your understanding everyone! Much appreciated because putting together kickstarters is a rather stressful process and I want visibility to everyone when it comes to budgeting for shipping, taxes so to minimize any surprises for myself and especially you. I know Kickstarter will collect sales tax from U.S. backers and remit it to the right tax bureaus. What I am waiting on still is Kickstarter's reply concerning VAT, which may come tomorrow or the following day.
I don't know what the tariffs will look like for you guys due to the chaos surrounding them, so really just trying to help you out with budgeting with what info that I can provide.
Here is what I will accomplish this evening:
• Adding in estimates for shipping for certain regions (Canada, Australia, Rest Of The World, U.S.) so that you have an idea for shipping when you go to place your pledge. For EU and UK, the estimates were coming in about the same for various countries so it is in the Rest of the World category. The campaign is set to show these estimates but not count the shipping towards the funding goal. This will also be noted in the campaign itself.
• Checking rewards' verbiage again since I am adding shipping estimates.
