Or you can just gently scrape them with the back side of an X-acto knife to remove the excess foil. Quicker, but probably not nearly as much fun as shuffling them a couple hundred times.

This set even inspired the rare heads-up match between the wife and me. She called this bluff down with deuces to end it all. Owned. My son William is building what he called a "street" there in the upper right. We used the cheap Bicycle cards that he could be dealt in.
