SO what do you prefer

A V cur more concentrated draw with more intensity and heat

a Punch\bullet cutter for added concentration and intensity of flavor

Striaght cutter : for the coolest and easiest draw

My choice is the V cut

I can't say that I've tried a v-cut many times....perhaps I'm missing out. I usually go with the classic straight cut

I love a good V cut, but my current cutter doesn't seem to get deep enough so I have to end up cutting it straight to get any sort of draw.

Years ago I only used V cut, but, a good V cutter is hard to come by. A bad V cut really pisses me off. If I'm smoking a Cuban then I usually use a punch, works well with the shape of Cuban cigar heads. Non-Cuban get a guillotine cut.

Really? I rarely have a bad cut with a v cutter. I find it the most consistent cut. I usually use a punch for a very large ring gauge so I don't mess up the cap.

Get a Colibri v cutter. It goes very deep. It's my favorite. The Xikar v cutter is wider, but not as deep.

Fantastic piece, mine's still very sharp, looks/feels/cuts great and the draw is perfect.

Oh and if the cigar is triple capped like Cubans, My Father or Don Pepin I normally use a straight cut and cut as close to the end of the cap as I can. Jose Garcia's interpreter gave me that advice. For torpedoes I like a straight cut.

I've tried that before, especially when I'm not getting a strong enough draw out of a single V and I don't have another cutter with me.
Yeah, I go for two deep cuts with my Colibri V cutter as I like a much larger smoke output if possible.
