I had a random rack of pharaohs sitting around recently as I was moving house. It seemed too difficult to sell them, so I just threw them in the bin.
Vineyards is another I don't mind. I actually had the pleasure of playing with them/dealing @inca911's set up at @slisk250's place last year. I can't deny they've got great colors and I don't mind the inlay design so much. They handled pretty well over all.Vineyards.
- Pretty much any chip with split spots
- Aztar Missouri $5's (along with almost every giant inlay chip there is, with Duy's Palace being a noteable exception). Why, Chip God, why???

What really makes them an abomination is that there are some real gems in their racks, and then you get to the $5 and are like "WTF DID YOU DO???". If not for those redbirds that casino might be much more desireable than some of the racks already are."these ugly circus chips"
The only chips I hate are cool ranch Doritos. It grinds my gears that the variety bags always have the most of those. I leave them out for my poker friends who apparently have no taste in snacks.

Shots fired. Cool ranch doritos are the best. Editing title and op as to not offend whomever is offended.heh. I told you this thread would get nasty![]()
I wonder if there's any chance folks will slam chips here that their fellow chippers have posted for sale on the forum or may post for sale at some point in the future? Or maybe that's considered fair game?
I hate Jessie Beck's Riverside TRKs, there I said it. A tiny black and white picture of an old lady's face is about the most unappealing thing you can put on a chip.
Yes, the edgespots and the TRK mold are awesome. But to have such vibrant aesthetics in colours and design on the outside and pair that with a tiny picture like that, it just ruins it for me.
Trigger warning. Here's my list of dislikes. Still new so I could be saved or changed with more time.
1) Solids (show me the spots! More spots more better)
2) Hot Stamps (just not a fan, love a good inlay)
3) S crown and L crown (honestly could change this to any mold that's not THC or RHC, love me some Paulson top hats) but these 2 are the main hyped molds currently. I assume for history purposes and the back story was interesting, the looks just don't do it for me.
4) Most important for last - those rare chips I can't get my damn hands on no matter how much I want them!
Warning. These are my personal opinions from a month of chipping. Put the pitch forks down.
People's taste changes over time. I remember when I was pretty new making similar comments about hot stamp chips. Now I think a solid hot stamp tourney set is the nuts.
Not sure if you're showing these because you think I may say "well, of course I like those," because I'm not going to. Or if you're saying "yeah! Down with giant inlays, like these," but that's how I'm going to take it.
heh. I told you this thread would get tasty![]()
- Pretty much any chip with split spots, including and especially the Paulson style 31 (although for some reason the Grand Casino Gulfports don't really tilt me).
