Are the Tangier mold with Tangier cash shaped inlays available and if so, is it an $80 fee? If so, do you forsee it being a free label fee option in the coming months? Looking to add a couple hundred more to my Tangiers order from April

Yes Tangiers will have a label fee. Not sure if they will be offered as the free set in the near future

Man I wish I had this many CDI splitting when I ordered in the fall!

I took a design cue from @Winslow2918, and I quite like the colours. If I had to choose again I MAYBE would do yellow quarters since the pink and red are sort of similar hues (but no issues with dirty stacking). With this said, I still do like this colour progression and would order it again because I love pink chips.

I bought these blind, not knowing how they would feel, and I have to admit I was skeptical. I have both 43mm Royals, and now these web molds 43mm. The web molds sound spectacular, and they have a nice weight and feel. I thought the "dimple" would bother me, but in the end when playing I don't even notice it. The CDI chips and colours are awesome, recommend 100%.

Thanks @Grimalkin !

Credit to Jordan @tallsbutler for the design. I simply swapped them around.

Im new here so sorry if this is a dumb question, but i dont see 50c denom very often, is that something that would be possible to add on to any of these designs?

I’m trying to figure out the denominations and quantity of chips to buy for my first set. The game I play with my buddies is eight people, $30 buy in, tournament style winner takes all. We’ve been using unlabeled dice chips, but I’m not sure how … Usually
whites are 1, red 5, blue 50, black 100. Usually T1200-1400 per person.
Would The breakdown above from coffeepork be appropriate for my game?

typically tournament sets are higher denominated chips, then cash game sets are the lower actual values...While you play tourneys now, there is a chance your group might branch into cash games, for which you would probably want a different set so you don't have to worry about people holding onto tourney chips then bringing to cash game, etc.

https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/basic-tournament-set-breakdowns-for-beginners-updated.49446/

see above for a good guide on a tourney breakdown

but if your group is already used to the values you mentioned, you could just tweak the breakdowns in that thread but use the same logic.

Thank you for that link, the table is super helpful!
I thought @BGinGA was the usual resource.

Nothing wrong with a denominated T1 base STT setup.

Just make sure you know all of your chips are "checked in" before ever using them for cash.

Optimal from the post above for 10 people using preferred 15/12/9/7/x breakdown:
150 x T1
120 x T5
90 x T25
90 x T100 (extras used for T1 color-up and re-buys)
10 x T500 (used for T5/T25 color-ups and re-buys)

Tina approved (25x) order of denominated chips for T1 Base STT for up to 10 players using recommended 15/12/9/7/x breakdown:
150 x $1
125 x $5
100 x $25
100 x $100 (30 extras used for T1 color-up and re-buys)
25 x $500 (used for T5/T25 color-ups and re-buys)
= 500 Chips <= THIS IS THE ONE I'D SUGGEST YOU ORDER

Tina approved (25x) order of denominated chips for T1 Base STT if you know you're NEVER having more than 8 players using recommended 15/12/9/7/x breakdown:
125 x $1
100 x $5
75 x $25
75 x $100 (19 extras used for T1 color-ups and re-buys - definitely OK if you play freezeouts. consider x100 if rebuys)
25 x $500 (used for T5/T25 color-ups and re-buys)
= 400 Chips

Tangiers question: Due to all the extra work on color-matching, the Tangiers labels should come out better than the samples (which were pretty great), what about the actual Tangiers chip mold, was it tweaked at all between the samples and production? Or was it locked in/approved as final after the samples were evaluated? Thanks!

This wouldn't be appropriate for a tourney set. This fits our need for 8-10 player cash game ($1/$2 NLHE) with capped buy in at $100.

The link the others shared seems to have good info as a starting point.

Wow, thank you so much for taking the time to lay this all out! I would definitely order some extra (500 set) for the occasional extra player/rebuys.
Now I just have to decide on the design. I’m thinking 43 mm sands black label.

You've got some time. Try to get samples in next week and if you like let 'er rip.
