Chip Recommendations? (1 Viewer)

I have recently found myself in a deep dive into the poker chip rabbit hole after searching for new set for my homes games this year. I wanted to get on here and see if I could get some recommendations from anyone who bough there first nice set or poker chip vets. For context I host NL Hold'Em Cash games typically $1/$2 $300 max buy-in, I would preferably like to be able to support 8-10 people and have a bank somewhere around 5k but would not be opposed to more. My budget is right around 1k but I would like to find something slightly cheaper to start if possible.

The chips that I have been looking at so far are the Royal Card Room chips from Apache along with the Majestics. I also have seen good things about Ravenor classics from Sunfly but I can't seem to find a whole lot about them on here.

I appreciate any insight on this.

I just purchased around 1000 Apache Royals (43mm). I love them. I’m new to the poker chip world so I don’t have a lot of chips to compare them to…so take that into consideration.

Royals are great. Sunfly ceramics/hybrids are great. Custom ceramics from @BR Pro Poker would be fantastic, too. Tina hybrids are nice and a good value, too.

@Dugthefish has a custom Polyclay Sunfly set. Can't remember if they're the cards mold, or diamond mold, but they stack and handle beautifully.

I mean, with $1k you can buy whatever the hell you want short of CPC or Paulsons.

Majestics and Royals are both awesome. Btw, some Majestics are sold out right now and won't be restocked for a few months according to Josh. That said, if you do want those I would buy now anyways because the tariff crazyness.
