These look like 48mm FHC chips that have extremely low QTY made. Shame to break that set up.

Because 300 sets were made, so each chip is 1 of 300 made. It doesn't say "#1 of 300".

Good catch, I didn't even look closely (giant inlays, ya know how it is). But that means that only 100 full sets ever existed -- breaking those apart is def a shame. Still leave 300 other chips (100s and 500s) for singles collections.

FYP. Dude’s been selling horseshoe chips for years, one at a time, and it’s been maddening to the set builders here. Folks here have begged him to sell some of the commons in bulk, to no publicly known avail (if someone has convinced him to sell in bulk directly to them, good on them - I’m unaware of it tho). My suspicion is that @JrChief8 knows the seller, but that is pure speculation on my part. If they are affiliated, I sure hope they can convince Mr./Mrs. Business10010100110101 to liquidate some of the horseshoe mold inventory in bulk here.

Happy with the Hundo I have and from what I hear... @sir bluffs alot was kind enough to sell his to Brie so we can display both sides!! I do get keeping the set together, especially in such small numbers made but man they make great display pieces. Wish I knew the history on such a tiny set... private room tourneys only? They are in fantastic shape, were they ever even used? Definitely always on my serch list when I hit eBay but I can never afford over the T100! Someday maybe awesome slice of history!!

I got lucky and got my 100 and 500 for about $22 total a few months ago. Took a long time of last second bidding and watching to try and get them for a decent price. I'd love to add the 1K and 5K to complete a set, but seem like they are a great white buffalo.

He has run out of a few denominations here and there and has been able to reload at later dates on some. The 500 oversized have stopped showing up in the last month or so. I picked up my first from him in late 2017 so at 1/200 I figure he had almost all of them.

The range for the 100 and 500 has been wide for sure but I haven't caught them going for that much yet.
The 1k and 5k have surfaced a couple of times in other sellers auctions and those have exceeded 30-40 though.
