Chanman's projects (3 Viewers)

After many coats of lacquer, and lots of sanding we have the finished product:

That's odd, I thought I had replied to this thread weeks ago.

I have a couple in stock, they're normally made to order but we did a big batch recently so I made some extra.

This is done with several experimental airplane kit manufacturers. Go to the factory and build your plane in two weeks instead of one or two years on your own. (Yes I am a private pilot).

Great idea for @T_Chan. He could add an upcharge for the customer assisted build. Win win.

@T_Chan could get a lot of free labor from the PCF. A lot of guys would go up there one at a time, work for free and pay for your end product that you take home at the end of the week...dibs if it happens

Been done before, a customer who found me on craigslist years ago asked if he could help with the build process. Whenever I worked on his table, I let him know and he came by to help out. He just wanted to be involved in the process. Turned out great, he was a good helper.

As a Canadian and a hockey fan... that's a sweet felt!

...it doesn't hurt that Yoshi is a cool guy, and has an artistic mind to boot.

Doing some housekeeping, realized I buy way too many cards....

I also found 3 boxes of Kems I no longer use. I wonder why that could be...

Free to anyone who wants them, just pay shipping. I remember dropping these boxes on the floor and was too busy to sort them, so all 6 decks are mixed together but they should be complete.
If you still have these decks, I'd love to take them off your hands.

Pretty sure I still have those cards. I'll send you a PM to get your contact details.

Not that much. We fire up the CNC machine to cut the main table parts, rail, base, raised rail components then it lays dormant until we need another table cut. It runs probably about 8 hours a week.

I usually do when I make them out of several pieces of laminated wood. Easy to cut out a foot from 3/4" wood, but these feet are from 2" solid maple slabs. I don't have a bit long enough to make the cut. Decided to use a bandsaw/router combo instead.

I've got a set of new feet for another table that's getting cut from white oak which is going to be laminated again so they go back on the CNC.
