I'm shocked the clowns were put back in the car. Grats to you two! Easy choice for me because white inlay always beats black IMO.
I'm in love with the D 5k though. Best chip overall award goes to the Barrel House 5k secondary. Miami Dolphin fans rejoice!

Nope, Iphone

please post more pics. A spread of the lineup... so I can compare the chips. Irish is trying to win the photo game...

oh wait, I see your first post has them. I honestly thought it was all Barrel house chips, until I looked closer and saw the Club D pic in there.

Congrats to both of these sets. Both are very well done and both have earned my vote along the way (though I didn't vote for both in the semifinals). Both sets deserve to be here.

I took some time with this one. Neither one has a weakness, really. It's just evaluating which one was done better.

I ultimately went with Barrel House. There are just some killer color combos. Extra points because the concept incorporated the HHR mold perfectly. I found the secondary chips to be overkill (personally, I'd rather two distinct chip sets), but that was not enough to vote against Barrel House.

Club D got major props for creating a generic design that would speak to anyone but with a personal touch and family heirloom quality. Although edgespots progression was intentionally avoided (I assume), which is acceptable in tournament sets, IMO, I did appreciate the subtle extra spots on the highest denoms...almost as if reserved only for players going deep in tournaments. And every chip is well done, sort of like the Aurora Star tournament hot stamp chips. Each one is amazing on it's own.

Dammit. I may need to change my vote... It's that close.

100% overkill  But there was a rhyme to the reason, I went this direction because I thought it would be neat not only to have two different sets (each playable for a two table tournament) - but similar enough that they could be combined in case I ever got the chance to run a larger 3-4 table tournament, like a PCF meet up. Based on the interest so far it looks like I'll get to test the concept next June....

Just trying to please the PCF voting demographic!  See...
