I am spending today organizing some of my individual chip collection and have a quick question.

Who actually creates most casino ceramic chips? You can find plenty of custom ceramic manufacturers with a quick google search, but are these the same companies making orders for actual casino use? Is there a leading 1 or 2 companies that control most of the market share in this space?

CPC offers ceramics too, including hybrids (two-piece, ie with a label) and it's strange I haven't seen anybody here getting some.

Who actually creates most casino ceramic chips?

Current ceramic chip manufacturers:

• ABC Gifts & Awards
• Game On Chip Company (GOCC)
• Sun-Fly

And at least one company located in China.

Ceramic chips offered by anybody else are made by one of those three companies (or in China). There may be some companies that do printing on blanks produced by those companies.

Former ceramic chip manufacturers:

• Chipco International
• Palm Gaming (PGI)

Miscellaneous notes:

• By far, most casino ceramic chips were produced by Chipco prior to them closing.
• GOCC, PGI, and Sun-Fly have also produced ceramic chips for casinos. Not sure about ABC.
• GOCC is/was comprised of former Chipco employees, and has lately reorganized and changed location for company correspondence. Actual current status of GOCC is unknown.
• Palm Gaming acquired most of the Chipco manufacturing assets, and subsequently offered Chipco blanks in addition to their own proprietary chips and Sun-Fly ceramic products. PGI closed earlier this year.
• ABC acquired most of the PGI assets after they recently closed.

Yes. I cant wait to see what he offers once he sorts through all the stuff he bought. And I would love to see him sort out Sals artwork too.

I think I decided that my custom tourney set will be ceramic set from Gene, on his best blanks, when its sorted.

Then I will make a custom cpc cash set.

I believe Gene already has the chipco equipment up and running, in conversations I've had with him he has indicated he could produce them at a premium but he doesn't advertise them except to casinos.
