Looks like @casinochipper22 got to deal some of the final table with Martin last night. Pretty awesome.

Yes. That was pretty fun. I only dealt one down. But it was cool. I was probably the most nervous at the table and they were playing for over 800k.

I got into the 10k eight game event today. I don’t have much experience dealing the stud games. my dyslexia kicked in and I called the wrong cards to bring in and lead the betting rounds a few times. That was pretty frustrating. after a few downs I got it under control. But not before David ODB snapped at me. lol. Those 10k players are on another level. Such a different atmosphere at those tables.

A home game I play in has a circus cash game that starts as players drop from the tourney. Wild cards and all kinds of crazy shit. First time I played I called stud 8. I burned a card and the table lost their mind.

"What are you doing?! You don't burn in stud!"
"You burn in everything."
"Not in this house."

The purpose of the burn is to prevent a nicked/marked card from being identified while it rests on the top of the deck.

You always should burn.

If there aren't enough cards for everyone to get a final card (I've never seen in, but mathematically possible) the final card is dealt as a face-up community card.

Right and right. They treat the burn like some ritual for flop games.
