I know most don't use wheels on their poker chairs. However, I got my Steelcase chairs for a steal years ago. I recently added an area rug over the regular carpet, hoping it would help a bit and it did. But I’d still like the chairs to move better.
I ordered 3” carpet casters to replace the chair wheels. We’ll see how that works. The 4” casters end up breaking the legs of some chairs and I’ll be ticked if any leg breaks with the 3”!
I was curious what others my have/suggest.
Another though was a chair mat, but my carpet is nearly 9 feet round and that would cost $350+.
