There may be a group buy coming very shortly - sit tight and keep an eye on the group buy board!
There is a GB taking orders now. It just opened yesterday. I think @Mudfever was asking who paid for this design to be done. Is it yours? Or did one of our designers make it available to anyone on PCF? If so, which one?

This cards mold specific artwork was done by a friend of @LeLe so I would contact him if you want a single set.

As I mentioned these will very likely be in another GB opening later this week as well.

OK, I misunderstood. I didn't realize you meant a GB for THESE chips. Cool!

 I saw my name

Just for clarification, any money collected for the BTP artwork are donated to the Local Animals Welfare Association as per our agreement with Toby previously

@Mortalpawn had approached us previously and have the go ahead with BTP ordering

From my understanding, there will be another BTP GB soon in the near future where all collections will also be dealt in the same matter

One of my favorite sets was the Vineyards, from the defunct late 1990's casino. I tracked down a few sets of Vineyards that were made in cards mold a while back, but with the small center label. I contacted @timinater who did the earlier artwork and asked him if we could scale up the label to "Grand" size label like the original Paulsons. I also asked him to use the original green/blue $3 chip for my $0.25 to give it a bit more color.

No group buy on these yet, but you can contact @timinater if interested in the artwork.

So today they came in and here's the result:

@Mortalpawn amazing tribute set! I'd be curious to see the original smaller inlays next to your oversized ones. I personally feel that CM chips really shine with the oversized look. These are absolutely stunning!

I prefer the large inlays also!
Oh wow, yeah, it completely changes the chip. I've definitely found that the CM chips impress me when using them for either an oversized inlay, or a shaped inlay. Well done on that set! However, please don't put them up in a group buy. I don't need more chips!

No one had done a large inlay on a cards mold when I did the small inlay tribute (December 2019) so I actually did not Know what it would look like but I actually like the large inlay better as well. The wording is tough to read on the small inlay

I was trying to get close to the original Paulsons (shown below). As you can see they are overprinted into the hat/cane mold beyond the label line even on the originals. In retrospect, I guess the 100's (and probably 500's of which only a few still exist) could have been done in 43mm.

I did consider smooth ceramics, but I think the cards mold adds some character to the chip and I'm not a fan of smooth ceramics.

BCC did a limited run of Vineyard tribute chips that were similar in 2005 - grand labels, overprinted beyond the label line, mold pressed into the label. They had a label that was just a hair too big for my taste, though, as it covered almost the entire face of the chip, but still very nice.

Funny story - but I did get an email back from Tina basically saying "are you sure you want to do this?" and mentioning that the inlays were too large for the mold. I told her that was actually the way I wanted it.
