And THC...but that's not relevant hereJust to point out, but the 2 of the most highly priced/valued live Vegas $1 chips right now are circus circus and flamingo, with binions not far behind and all are blue.

Also not correct! The Jerry's Nugget $1s in near mint condition sell @$4 a chip, and good luck getting them even at that price, and definitely not blue. And THC...but that's not relevant here![]()

I would say those are a close second or on par with CC, followed by Paris, Boulder Station, Strat... then maybe the Blue Solid Flamingo $1, but I agree with @Thomacetti all THC and not relevant here.
What is relevant is that a White work horse chip gets real dirty, real fast! If you like a white $1 knock your socks off, nothing wrong with them other that definitely more effort to clean and plan to have to clean them again every 8 - 10 games if you have OCD about dirty chips! We have multiple sets with white $1 chips, but I definitely prefer Blue if possible.
Any rough idea of the ratio of each inlay? In your pic is looks like the 5k has the alternate inlay, so I assume that is what is being referred to.Majestic Star: First the story. We had a deal in place to purchase the primary and secondary for the MS chips. Upon closing of the Majestic Star, the gaming commission required the primary chips be stored under surveillance until the redemption period had expired. Hard Rock sold the boat and removed all surveillance and the new property did not have surveillance set up. As a result, the Gaming Commission ordered the primary to be destroyed and allowed the secondary and NCV chips to be sold. One big problem. When the MS opened, after covid shutdown, the secondary chips were put into play and the primary chips were moved to secondary.
Opinion of chips. The lower denominations are very worn, some might call them bicycle tires. They are dirty too. I instructed my workers to pack the boxes with as many chips would fit per barrel. So in some cases that would be 21 or even 22. $500 on up will all stand on edge. They went through 2 slightly different logo variations and are both mixed in, along with some anniversary and le chips. The 43mm chips have some rack check marks and are dirty, but not bad shape considering the age.
bacc room chips, GO and anniversary chips are all mixed in.@TheChipRoom are the bacc room mixed in? will we see GO chips mixed in as well?
did you get the roulettes ?
Not really, I didn't box the chipsAny rough idea of the ratio of each inlay? In your pic is looks like the 5k has the alternate inlay, so I assume that is what is being referred to.
Thanks again for bringing great chips to the forum!

the jacks are in pretty good condition. if you like the way they look, go for it! what stakes do you play + how many players?i was thinking of getting some of the jack chips. Is it worthwhile? I know the photos show them as pretty used, and i was wondering if it would be worth it to try and get some 1, 5, and 25s to start a jack set. It would be my first "Real" Set to collect.
They’re a good value in that you won’t find much (possibly anything) out there in the same condition for the same low price. Whether they’re right for any particular person, is a case by case thingi was thinking of getting some of the jack chips. Is it worthwhile? I got them as my first clay set and I'm happy with them. As mentioned, you probably won't get a full set for a price like this in the classifieds.i was thinking of getting some of the jack chips. Limits will be off he said after 1st hr@TheChipRoom , hey jim, is there a max limit on the Maj Star chips by percentage, and will that limit expire after an hour, like other sales before ?

YesThe $1k and $5k are 43mm, right?
if you want a tournament set without buying 1200 chips total to get the 60 $1k - 5% requirement, go for thatThe majestic star primary chips and the majestic star T10000 set appear to be the same batch of chips, is this accurate? What are the pros and cons of these specific chips? What size?
If you squint with sunglasses they're sorta blue. Also not correct! The Jerry's Nugget $1s in near mint condition sell @$4 a chip, and good luck getting them even at that price, and definitely not blue.

if you are referring to the $500s, the primaries are slightly used and the secondaries are mint conditionHow would you explain the difference between Jack primary and secondary chips? Just personal preference?
Secondaries were "backup" chips that the Casino had to have on hand as required by state law. In case something happened, there was a back up set of chips available. How would you explain the difference between Jack primary and secondary chips? Just personal preference?
