Sitting Out
Hello, I am looking to spend $1-2k USD for 500 to 1000 chips. I was thinking of either doing custom clay chips, or doing a bulk order of really nice non-custom chips. Any recommendations?
The budget for the cash game set is more at $1-2k for 500-100 chips, so I thought that other suppliers would become available.
A lot depends on your timeline. For custom clay chips, you are limited to CPC or re-labeling existing chips. CPC will be a LONG wait, as they aren't even taking orders right now because they are in transition mode between old and new owners. Re-labeling existing chips would be less time, but still a wait to get labels. The budget for the cash game set is more at $1-2k for 500-100 chips, so I thought that other suppliers would become available.
Sticker Mule is a quick option and the quality is acceptable.Re-labeling existing chips would be less time, but still a wait to get labels.
Unless they're looking at some China Clay product - Spirit Molds were the relabel GOATs (IMO) but there are other options. Both options might be pushing the limits of $2 per chip, however. Just depends on what clay chips you are looking at.
Okay, is there any good non custom options?
Hi! That would be great. So yes, $1-$3 per chip would be great. We run mainly 1/1 games that play very deep, where average stack is usually $1k ish a few hours in, and sometimes over $15k on table. I think I want the capacity to run 2 of these tables, 9-max. We also occasionally run .25/.5 as well, but this runs $1k deep still lol. So I would need very few 25 cent chips. One option are the Key West clays. I've had a 1000pc set for a couple years and I think they're very nice chips for the money at just a little over $2.50 per chip (with the PCF discount), and you can have them in just a few days. These are made by CPC (who was mentioned above) and sold by one of the vendors here on PCF.

If you could provide more info about the game you plan on hosting (stakes, # of players, cash vs. tourney) we could give you much better recommendations concerning chip amounts and breakdowns.
I saw on the tigerpalace website that they are like $6-10 a chip though.Tigers

Thanks, this breakdown looks great! So, from this thread I should be looking into Keywest chips? What about Atlantic Club, or is there any others? How's this look?
