I started this set pretty much right after I stumbled upon PCF in Sep 2020.

@Josh Kifer was the one who assisted me during the humble beginnings of the set. Not only through his milling services but also letting me store more and more racks of solids in his shop until I collected enough for my first big box from the US to germany.

I went through a long process of choosing the right colors for the right denoms. Documenting my every move in my Flamingo Cologne Thread.

Loved the process from start to finish.

When the chance to aquire 120 spotted flamingos presented itself, I jumped on it. Spending more money than I've ever spent / chip but I still feel it was worth it.

I think, they look really fun sprinkled in with the rest.

Most of the milled solids had to be flattened, so I learnt how to do that as well.
Also:
Seating chips - Yay!

I built the set so I could play NLHE and limit games with it.

It worked great but I wasn't entirely happy with how the day greens interacted with the $1s as I felt it was the weakest color combination in the set. So I went on looking for a secondary $20 for my limit games.
When I managed to find a rack of crispy hot pinks, the search was over as quickly as it had begun.

And one more shot of the limit shenanigans going on in the Lovejoy Residence.

Thank you for your consideration.

I love the backstory @OfficerLovejoy ! The single spotted flamingo chip is actually the inspiration for the single spotted chip in my Bottled in Bond set. It's still one of my favorite chips of all time.

If anyone doesn't already know the story behind the Joker Poker set, I have a post about it from when I originally revealed it:

https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/joker-poker-pinball-themed-set.76877/

Long story short is that I always have tried to include my daughters in all of the hobbies that I do. Not because I want to have them follow in my footsteps, but just because I want to show them that there's so much out there and that if they apply themselves they can do almost anything.

Whether it's fixing RC cars, playing a musical instrument, or designing your own poker chips. There's nothing that you can't do if you put your mind to it. They were absolutely amazed that I was self-taught in all the tools that we use to design the set.

One of my simplest, yet most treasured sets in my collection!
