Barrington poker table thread (13 Viewers)

Thanks @idkWhenToFold , that’s one suggestion I can consider, and I’m not opposed to doing some “reupholstering” work in the rails if it comes down to that.

If possible, I’d prefer to go even simpler and maybe find some sort of “cap” or “lid” I can put on/over the top of each cup holder. Maybe something that snaps in place? I think I’ll have to break out my ruler and take measurements and then do some trial or error.

Anyone else have additional ideas or suggestions?

3D printing a cap is probably the most sleek.

You could also just glue leather coasters to the top of foam cylinders cut to sit flush and put em in the cup holders. Mileage may vary on how that looks.

Thanks @TwinChameleon , those are both good suggestions. I don’t have access to a 3d printer but I can find someone who does… Or maybe someone here on the forum?

I’m also digging the “capped insert” idea as an another, simpler, solution.

Any recommendations for table cover for my Barrington? I’m looking for something with an elastic band, similar to pool table covers.

I keep the table up, ready for action. (Pictured is my current 3 piece cover system)

I have 2 BBO's we play on - an 8 seater round and a 10 seater oval. Tables are in areas with a lot of foot traffic, and I wanted some really heavy duty covers to keep people from messing with them. I searched around and ended up ordering 2 custom "outdoor furniture covers" from Sealskin Covers- in their "Custom Elite" line. These things are bullet proof. For the Round table, I ordered it 56" by 4" deep, with their "drawstring" option. it drapes over the table and covers well underneath the rail. For our Oval, I ordered it 96" long, by 46" wide, with a "curvature width" of 68" - also 4" deep, with the drawstring tie down option. They are jet black with a very rubbery feel to the material. FULLY waterproof, and thick. This might be overkill for your table, but for where ours are located (locker room area), they are awesome!!!

Woah those are some serious covers! Probably cost more than my barrington table which is by definition an overkill haha

I just fold laundry on my table when I’m not playing poker so now that I’m thinking about it, my plastic and tablecloth covers are actually probably all the protection I need. I just have a sickness and am always looking for new accessories for my poker room, even ones I don’t need

Sir, you are on PCF. By joining, you agree to overspending on stuff you do not need.

I got my Barrington for $150 but have spent well over $150 modifying it.
You’re so right— quick, someone send me the link to the custom elite line pro max mole skin table covers that will complete me!

Looks like you've already attempted a sheet, but have you tried a fitted sheet? I've bee using a cheap twin size fitted sheet on one of mine for years. Not going to have the protection a pool table cover would, but it keeps the dust off and are easy to wash themselves.

I just ordered one. $107 shipped and all in.

I’ll have to give this a try, thanks!

No pics?

Don't forget to add the Allstate plan to it. Worth every penny. I've purchased it for other stuff and the process is seamless should you need to use it.

Maybe this is sarcasm and I'm an idiot. But I'm genuinely curious, what are you anticipating happening to your poker table that you need insurance on it?

I have three boys that are thirteen and under. My folding table from Costco looks like Picasso got a hold of it. I’ve come home from work with a fishing rod hanging from my willow tree. Need I say more?

Anyone else have issues with sloping near the center of the table? Sitting in the center while dealing, the top two or three cards always slide off the top of the deck. Table was bought new and has been used for a total of 4 home games so far, no outrageous bills Mafia body slams have occurred either.
