I have a set of Paulson Classics that I bought back in the early 2000s and am now looking to fill out the set.. but the prices are now astronomical . I saw some chips on eBay for about $2 a chip that look comparable and was wondering if these were Blue Chip Company? I've gotten a few random samples over the years and have a few with that wing/shell pattern on them that feel similar to the Paulsons
Thanks for taking a look and your input.

China clays known as "spirit molds". In my experience, they feel and sound most like actual clay chips. The main downside is that they tend to be really fragile. I wouldn't try to mix them with real Paulsons, as you won't be fooled.

Here's a place where you can get them for 10¢/chip.

There are some shady eBay sellers that will include a single Paulson Classic chip and then a rack of these (or similar) cheaper chips and sell as if you were getting a full rack of Paulsons. Please read the listings carefully.
