Anyone know SoupHQ in Germany? (1 Viewer)

Well at least you tried I guess, it sounds like you get to keep my money for your token effort.
Now you can blame the shipping service for everything.
Sending my PP. Thanks. We did this together, bud.

Oh, no view on this one, more poking Ekricket because he knows I heart him.

No tracking is a red flag in international shipping
Well, for smaller packages I leave it up to the buyer to decide, and sometimes offer to cover half of the extra cost for adding it (as here it's been crazily expensive).

Yeah but this is not a small package it’s 1200$

Whelp unfortunately this is an issue with a non Conus chipper, and since folks here are unlikely to have to deal with Soup in the future, no one cares.

At this time, all you can do is leave meaningless feedback.

As most do, this will likely sort itself out over time, but you’ll have likely no help from chippers here and even less from administration.

--> The tracking said it had been returned to me, but it hadn't. It's nowhere to be found. Not at the neighbors', not anywhere in the shed, or anywhere else. Initial contact with the US Postal Service was a bit frustrating.
If @SoupHQ can’t provide a tracking number that corroborates his story to @twocannons he’s a scammer. Whatever’s going on in life there was enough time for that of the month+.

He should at least show you all the communication with the shipping company now; that would be a good step toward building trust.

I can't send him the money back because I didn't get the package back.

Did you tell the buyer "shipping abroad only at your own risk"?

Did you pay for insurance?

Generally when someone here makes a purchase and never receives it, a full refund is given, or at worst you go halfsies.

The buyer has no direct control over how you managed the packaging/shipping and usually can't contact your shipper as a recipient to resolve it.

So unless there was an understanding prior to purchase that shipping abroad was buyer beware, I can't really agree that the shipper gets to keep all of the buyer's money and the buyer is just SOL.
