OP says Poker size but I see a lot of folks saying Bridge size in posts.

Interested in 4+ setups Red/Blue but only if Bridge size is an option.

In for bridge.
+1
I’d be in for a few.
I would be in if they do bridge size.
+1 in for several if bridge

I will inquire about any offerings in bridge size. I'd be interested too. That being said, this is the first group buy effort I'm running, and for the sake of simplicity, I think I'm going to keep this a poker size buy only. The interest level is already above what I thought it'd be, to be honest. After the King and Angel Amazon buys recently, I didn't think there would be much interest!

That being said, if there are indeed similar bridge size offerings available for purchase, I'll run a separate buy at some point for them. Combining poker and bridge size cards in one order would be biting off a bit more than I'd be able to chew. I'm very sorry folks :(

Totally understandable, I was just confused by all the other Bridge size talk. :)

Are these different from the previous Angels that were in the last GB? If so I’ll probably get a few, if not I already have some coming. Now if the bridge does happen you can count on me for a few of those as well.

Sorry to add to the bridge derailment! Thanks again for looking into this!

In for 8 decks, colors TBD

Anyone know if these are the same cards as the Angel Club Poker cards?

I believe that they are, but I can't be certain until I have some of these in hand. They are on the "Aristo Club" line, which may or may not be on the same stock, but I'd imagine they're similar.

I saw a reference that they make both PVC and Acetate. Not certain, but I thought that the Club Poker cards may be Acetate.

Believe the "Club Poker" line is PVC. Their "Angel Poker" line are the acetate cards. Sadly these cards that Matsui have seem to be the former, but plastic cards nonetheless!

I had to laugh at this explanation from Kem on the difference between the two.

"Other 100% plastic playing card manufacturers use a pvc plastic when they make their 100% plastic playing cards. We understand, since pvc is a cheaper raw material than Cellulose acetate plastic. However, its the cellulose acetate that makes our cards that much better than all the other 100% plastic playing card manufacturers. Cellulose acetate has more snap and shape retention than PVC. Cellulose acetate does cost more, but it is worth it! "

Huh? Kem are some of the softest, bowed-ass cards I've ever used.

Interested in something like 2 each of green & orange, depending on what the front of the cards look like.

I'm still waiting on photos of the card faces as well as more detailed photos of the card stock that I requested.

Matsui will only sell by the sealed brick, so I would need to purchase extra in increments of 12 if the numbers come out somewhere in between. That's no matter though, as those extras are probably what I will buy for myself and keep.

The decks would come cello wrapped and not in any tuck boxes, just FYI.

So I have a couple decks of these. Bought them a long time ago from an eBay seller unloading these decks from the closed Hard Rock Casino in London. Never realized these were made by Angel, til this thread. Great cards!! Here are some pics of the faces!!

Good stuff! Would you mind sharing your impressions of the cards? Are they soft or rigid in feel? Is the stock smooth or textured?

Definitely softer than the other known PVC manufacturers (Dal Negro, Modiano, Copag, etc.) Feel is more like Kem or Fourniers. They have a little bit of texture. Not nearly as smooth as Kems, but again not the heavy texture feel you get from Dal Negro, or Modiano.

It’s definitely possible. Angel is one of the playing cards I know the least about. I participated in the recent Angel GB for the PVC setups. Once I have those in hand, I can compare, and comment better.
I've been playing with mine for a few days now but they're a little more slick than I like. I'm still reserving judgement for a bit till I get more shuffles in them.

I'm interested to know how the ones from @Geremie group buy compares to these. That's why I haven't ordered any yet, that and I'd like to see better pics of the cards. Looking forward to your assessment.
