I played a few hands yesterday with the new crown series by AHPC / Marion Pro in poker size and i‘m positively surprised!

Opened a deck today to take a closer inspection.

Nice box, all wrapped - box and cards.
1 black cut card included (soft)

They‘re textured on both sides, face slightly more. Wich means they‘re not slippery at all.
Great shuffle - flexy and snappy.

The sides are a bit rough, but not unpleasant and no cutting edges.

Ink seems pretty durable - i scratched one joker card on sandpaper resulted in just a light fading.
And there’s no bad inky smell!

Imo, they’re decent cards if you‘re not fixed on bridge size and would recommend them.
Well done AHPC!

They do look great, looks like he did a great job on them, but I'm one of those fixed on bridge size... :)

What happened here? Something for science?

The KuoKau premium PVC card stock makes these Poker size cards feel more like Bridge size in handling. They handle very well and are not as stiff as a lot of other Poker size cards. I've been playing with other KuoKau premium card stock and there have been no issues with fading, smell, warping, etc. The texture seems perfect. Other than Al's offering the only other KuoKau premium card stock out there that I know of is from Marion Pro. I really like KuoKau. They do everything well IMHO.

Wow - a whole thread dedicated to my cards - I am honoured, thank you @SwissChip !

I am glad you are enjoying and rating these - I genuinely spared no expense in having them produced, every component of the set was an upgrade compared to original specs. I was only interested in creating something of premium quality, so I am glad people are appreciating them.

Cheers! :D
