Long story short... had custom ceramics made a while ago... wanted new ones since... and here I am. The attached photo is my blackjack table's tray with all my new chips, except the middle 2 rows, and the beige color chips. My new chips are my blue $1's, yellow $5's, green $25's, and white $100's. Old chips are the beige 25¢'s, the pink $500's, yellow $1000's, and white $5000's.

Undecided chip colors are 5¢, 25¢, $500, $1000, and $5000. Anyone who can pitch in their thoughts would really help me on deciding. :)

1. 5¢ I'm thinking of cranberry-ish. Don't know if there should be edge spots or not.
2. 25¢ I'm thinking of peach. Don't know if there should be edge spots or not.
3. $500 I want to keep pink, but do a white and darker pink edge spot like my $25 edge spot pattern.
4. $1000 I want to do orange with black and white edge spots, same $25 pattern, but not sure.
5. $5000 I want to do brown, like a chocolate chip, but wanted black and white, but probably will be too close to the $1000 chips, so looking for advice here.

Thoughts? Feedback? Thanks!

Based on the edges, it looks like a hustler casino tribute. I’d just go with the old hustler colors for the high denoms, since those follow a typical Cali color scheme. The new ones they put on the screen are just atrocious imo.

For 5c and 25c it might be best for those to be solids, or just very very minimal edge spots for some edge spot progression. Make sure the base colors don’t really interfere with anything $1-25.

I guess i'll be the first one to say - do you really need so many denoms?
what are you playing that requires 5c and $5000 chips in one set?
Do you mean why do I need so many denoms in the tray? The tray I use 25¢ chips, no 50¢ in my set, for blackjacks. Higher denoms for big side bet payoffs. The denoms in the tray accommodate a $25 minimum table. 5¢ chips do not go in the blackjack tray.

Yes, inlays are based on Hustler's, but improved to my liking. Yah, I just feel like their $500, $1000, and $5000 chips are plain. I agree, don't like their new chips.

I'll probably just do solid then for the cent chips. Peach for 25¢ and maybe watermelon or something for 5¢.
