Hi PCF members,

I have a custom CPC set done with H Mold and 312 spots. Breakdown:

100 x frac (solid retro lavender)
200 x 1 (solid chocolate)
380 x 5 (312 yellow with retro blue spots)
180 x 25 (green with red spots)
160 x 100 ( black with white spots)
80 x 500 (blurple with arc yellow spots)
140 x 1000 (canary with blue spots)
40 x 5000 ( chocolate with light green spots)

Giving some thought to reselling, all chips clean and nearly unplayed.

I understand that CPC chips tend to sell at a discount from their retail price but just wondering what might be a reasonable per chip price these days.

Thanks!

I'll post some pics later today - the inlay isn't awesome but not that bad. From prior experience they are pretty easy remove and replace.

Custom sets can be a tough sell because the breakdown will have to fit someone else’s needs and it’s hard to add-on, especially with the current state of CPC. Also never know if the color/quality will match once new chips start getting produced again (for the better or worse really).

I sold my solids for about 60% of current CPC pricing but was motivated to sell quickly, and had a theme very specific to me. The complexity of the spots used also matters, and as @dizzyChipper mentioned above pics and condition influence it a lot.

I will agree that generally inlays are easy to remove, but then there’s also added cost of buying new labels.

My guess would be 50-75% of retail price based on the little info given. Higher end of the scale for better spots/usable inlays/better condition. It still might take a while to sell though unless you have someone specifically looking for that mold and/or doesn’t want to wait for new chips to start coming out from CPC.

I agree with both posts. Outside of my Sunsets. I design my customs so that they "aren't" specific to me. When I traded/sold my quarter pie custom set to @Ben8257 , I think I only lost about 20% of what I paid. That was awhile ago and I'm old. I don't really remember!

They were in play last weekend! Absolutely nothing but compliments everywhere I go with that set!
