I’ve popped over to Italy for a couple of weeks or until they deport the missus for being mental  :ROFLMAO:

I’ll stick up some photos if I remember to take any.

I’m currently in Verona before heading to Venice then staying at a couple of places round Lake Garda.

So far I have drunk beer and ate pizza so it’s as if I never left Glasgow!!

Anyway this thread should help those of you who have trouble sleeping…

A pint at 5:30am in the airport this morning

More pictures of pints to come. Stay tuned.

Some cultural things in case you don’t like pictures of pints.

The Roman amphitheatre built in AD 30 which is 50 years before they built the colosseum in Rome and 1916 years before Caesars Palace in Vegas. I’m going to see an opera on Friday so more photos assuming they let me in.

Juliet’s balcony from where she shouted “Romeo. Romeo. Where for art thou?” and from where my missus shouted “F*ck this can we go and get a pint?”

A view across the city from the highest point, which if I knew it was that high I wouldn’t have walked up to take this picture.

The point of us coming to Verona was to see the opera in the glorious Italian weather. But naw. It’s pishing, thunder & lightning and there’s a severe weather warning.

Anyway they decided that it was safe to go ahead so here I am… dressed as a condom  :ROFLMAO:

May as well be back in Scotland with that weather mate!

Would love your take on Venice; we're planning a trip for next summer and are debating a stopover there. There's concern about fighting the tourists, but it looks pretty tranquil in your photos.

PS. 3 generations are going, grand parents ~70s, us, kids ~12years old.
