Looking to host a 30 player 6-max tourney (5 tables), but couldn't find anything with regard to table-breaking.
Do the tables break at no less than 4-handed (except final 2 tables), as in the following?:
Start with: 30 (5 tables)
break table at:
24 (4)
18 (3)
12 (2)
6 (1/final table)
At all stages, no less than 4-handed per table, except when down to 2 tables with 7 players (3+4), just before final table.
Is the above correct, or do you go down to 3-handed (as in when down to 9 players with 3 tables) ?
Is there any standard, or is it just preferential?
And any other thoughts or suggestions?
