I don’t think ceramic chips existed until the 1980’s. These are pretty cool and I think they are Chipco’s. I see them for sale as singles on eBay as roulette chips. Very cool!
In fact i boutgh those to the grandsoon of the man who recover them. He told me that his gran dad has them since 1970. He has above 10 cases of old plastic french chips from monte carlo casino with, so i think he told me the truth. And Domergue died in 1962.

Translation, i found it on eBay, this is a certificate from the "société des bains de mer" which was in charge of the monte carlo casino at this time, it says that this chips was used between 1959 and 1976.

They are cool chips and I’m not trying to take anything away from them! I’m 99% sure these are Chipco and the Company was founded in 1985. There is simply no way they are as old as you think.

Don t worry, i m just trying to found the truth with all elements and i appreciate your help.
i had chipco chips, they are near from them but not exactly the same.

I have a lot of element telling they are old like this but i can't be sure, you are truth.

The most important in my eyes is that illustrations should have been specially made for the chips. They are representation of french riviera way of life in the sixties and as domergue was dead in 1962 i can t imagine they use design after his death.

The man who sell them to me tell that his gran father show them to im in 1995 but that he had them a long time ago before.
He as a lot of old retro plastic chips which include the monetary change in france 60 years ago. i think he told me the truth cause when he was talking about his gran father i can fill emotion in his words.

But you are truth, all thoose elements are not a proove.

Thats is sure is that they was use in this casino before 1995. The various condition between the different edge serie proove it.

But i repeat, thanks for you help, it s a very interresting discussion and i will be very happy if we can found the truth.

In fact if i had proove i would sell them more expensive :)

I don t think they are BG, top is smooth and no "BG" wrtite on.
It s one reason which told me they are old, they near but different from all ceramique casino chips i have seen before.

I like the art on these, but difficult to commit when we really don't know what these are. If they were made by Chipco, that would be the best.

Please help me do the math: If I want a barrel of various samples in the best condition. How much would that be shipped to the US?

best condition chips are Edge 1.
9 colours, one barrel of each. It s mean 180 chips at 1.2$ each.
Shipping will be 45$ until 2kilos.
This mean (180 x 1.2) + 45 = 261$ without paypal fee.

Hope it help.
I really don t think they are chipco, i really don t think they are BG. I don't know who made them. I know the casino where they was used and the man who make the design.

I can tell you that chips quality is nearer from chipco than bg. They are smooth.
And i can tell you that if you order a sample you will order more after. :)

So the sample set of edge #1 is 7 chips but there are 9 colors?

was that a mistake or what colors are missing from the sample set?

These are all non-denom? Were they used for roulette?

Yes you are thrue. But i have not enough chips in some colours to make full sample set without breaking rack.

Chipco International was founded in 1985 by John Kendall (former General Manager of Burt Co.), after he purchased the Burt Co. assets.

Chipco invented/developed the full-face dye-sublimation printed 'ceramic' chip. The chips in question were manufactured no earlier than 1985, and were certainly NOT used from 1959-1976, no matter what fraudulent 'certificate of authenticity' is provided.
