I'm wondering what a good blind structure would be for a tournament that would have three 64 player qualifying sessions, then one championship session where the top 20 from each 64 player session move on to the championship session.
They're going to start with 20k stack with blinds at 100/100. On the championship session the blinds roll back to 300/600 to give the final session more play.
The intention is for each session to last about 4-5 hours then the championship session to last 6-8 hours.
Qualifying sessions structure (25 min levels) - My logic is that these sessions should end at around 3000/6000 with the average stack being ~64k when at 20 players remaining.
Championship session structure (30 min levels) - With 3,840,000 chips in play, the game should end with 50bb which would be 76,800 (so the 4000/8000 level).
Does this seem like it would last the desired amount of time?
