Hi All the Elite 8 matches were ran. Here is the East Region. #4 @iLogik faced off against the #2 seed @krafticus . It was an epic battle of high ranked teams as both teams tied with a 10. Into the overtime @iLogik dominated with a Jack while krafticus could only muster a 3. Congrats to #4 @iLogik for making the final four while krafticus will battle it for prizes 5 to 8.

Here are the Elite 8 results from the West Region. #2 @surfik vs #8 @mugenpowr was a low scoring affair. When surfik pulled out a 3 for his first card I was sure mugenpwr was going to win, but to the whole my and the whole arena's surprise he pulled a 2 to give surfik the victory. @surfik moves to the Final Four while mugenpwr will battle it for prizes 5 to 8.

Hi all here are the results of the Elite 8 for the South Bracket. If I've learned anything on this site in all my years is always bet on @Mrs Poker Zombie to win despite who she is playing against. #2 @Himewad had been destroying all his competition all tournament long by scoring high cards like Jacks and Kings, however, he met the buzzsaw in #5 @Mrs Poker Zombie. She pulled out a King to defeat the strong 10 of Himewad. Congrats to @Mrs Poker Zombie who will move onto the Final Four. Himewad will compete for prized 5-8.

Here is the last bracket, the Midwest Region, in the Elite 8 to be run. #1 @Poker Zombie who has been strong all tournament met #3 @ChipFinderSK . @ChipFinderSK pulls a Jack to defeat the 8 of @Poker Zombie . The last #1 seed goes down. Congrats to @ChipFinderSK to making the Final Four. Poker Zombie will compete for Prizes 5-8.

UPDATE- CLARIFICATION there are 10 prizes and who ever is the National Champion will have first choice out of the 10 prizes which they want. Then 2nd Place gets next choice of Prizes, then 3rd, 4th, 5th, etc... It will go until the last person at #10 gets their prize.
