2016 Chiplympics: BBotB Side Event (3 Viewers)

J5, we would LOVE to have you attend. A lot of guys will be there who have worked with you on custom sets and I think playing with the guy that helped me with my customs would be awesome. You gotta make this - would be so epic.

Thanks I appreciate it! It would be awesome, but not really possible for me at this time. :(

@Johnny5

Be careful, this sounds an awful lot like a trap that ends with you locked in a basement, chained to a computer, designing custom sets for PCF members in New England who don't want to wait in line for your services.

Phew, dodged that bullet!

Actually that sounds just like my life now, just swap out Toronto for New England...

@Johnny5 Toss: Top 3 who throw John furthest get 50% discount and priority design service on next custom set.
Good luck with that! I'm 6'4/220+lbs, so it might take all three to get any distance!

Fun idea. Possible events...trying to imagine skills used in an actual game or somewhat useful talents...

- Speed Stack: time how long it takes each player to rake a huge splashed pot and organize into barrels
- Speed Cut: time how long it takes to cut 10 barrels into stacks of 5
- I've got pot odds, bro (aka the Kenny Rogers): each player gets a 3 second glance at splashed pot, then has to guess how much is in it
- The Lebron: simple tossing game, find a small cup and shoot. I'm picturing the wrist flick frisbee shot will dominate this, so this covers a core "chip move"
- Chip Roll: put a piece of string or otherwise draw a circle on the felt and roll chips into it from across the table (thinking of the chip trick where you roll from hand to hand)

I love it just for prop betting on the side.

Other events:

1. Chip sculpture contest (500 chips max). +1 if players have never tried this.

2. Fastest Tower, starting footprint is a 6-7 chip circle and build up 300 chips. If you don't know how to do this, it takes 5 seconds to master.

The Lebron - claiming you will win not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5, not 6, not 7 events. then faking an injury
