Im looking at running a 2 table tourney with my current setup. Is there any possible way to run a 10K with one rebuy with the chips that I currently have? Was trying to figure out starting stacks but having a few problems not thinking I have enough T25 chips.

Here is my current setup
T25-130
T100-170
T500-100
T1K-150
T5000-50

Thanks for any help.

I'm too lazy to run the numbers right now but you could look into *gasp* not giving out identical stacks to everyone.

You could host two tables 8 handed pretty nicely with 8/8/6/6 or 8/8/4/7 stacks. 10 players at each would require mixed stacks and lots of making change.

How many players do you want to support? Is it a one time thing or are you looking to have a regular setup? If a one time thing, do you have any non-denominated chips lying around?

I’m trying to make it a regular setup. Just contacted David at CPC and seeing if I can add some chips to my cash game purchase since the B-Mold is running soon.

I think the answer to you question is that to support X players, you need at least 8X of T25 and T100 respectively, 4X of T500, 7X of T1000, and T5000 depends on rebuys, addons etc.

For now, I recommend giving 16 players stacks of 8/8/4/7 or 8/8/6/6 like @wonderpuddle wrote, and the others get starting stacks of the other chips (make sure to get 40 of the spare T100 in play, as it will help reducing change making).

For example, a player starting with 10 T1000 will need to make change with someone when sitting down. It's not ideal, but it will work.

Thinking outside the box here: Perhaps you could reduce the need for T25s by altering the blinds somewhat.
25/50
50/100
100/150 (instead of 75/150, which is the most "T25 expensive" level)
* color up *
100/200
100/300 (instead of 150/300)
200/400
etc...

Only having 130 x T25 restricts you to 16 players, if using typical T25-base stacks. 160 would be required for two 10-player tables.

Another option would be to use a T100-base structure with 10k stacks, although with only 170 x T100 chips, you are still limited to 17 players -- unless you also included T25 chips in the starting stacks, but did not have blinds using them. Just require that the T25 chips be wagered in increments of 100.

You can cover 20 players x T10k stacks with ample chips for color-ups and rebuys, using these starting stacks:

10 players with 8/8/4/7
10 players with 4/9/4/7

Again, with no blinds requiring T25 chips and using them only in 100 increments, having fewer than 8 per player will pose no problems.
