Jack casino’s being sold! (3 Viewers)

They don't look like that.

They look like this:

Damn they found a way to take one of the nicest looking spot patterns (the $500) and really screw it up IMHO. You can't even see one of the spot colors.

lol I thought the grey spot was finger gunk at first. It wasn’t until I really looked at all the chips to realize it was an edge spot.

I'd love to get a small cash set of casino chips but I'm on a much more limited budget than most here so a blowout sale would be much appreciated...

Jim has these cheapco (chipco) chips for a great price. We put these in play last night.
Sure they’re not paulsons but very inexpensive. Just a thought for a budget.

It is Caesars that is most likely to buy, I would imagine that they would want one of their brands on all of the properties. It would be interesting if they go back to being Horseshoe Casino’s again.

Aren't a lot of the Caesar's properties house molds? So if they went cack to a Horseshoe type name, maybe there would be an interesting Horseshoe House mold redesign? Could be quite nice.

Right now it's only Greektown and they're keeping the name/brand.

Looking to add sports betting there maybe and better player incentives

What's the latest on this? My brother in law is named Jack (who also is a fraternity brother and good friend) - and likes poker - perfect set for him in the event these chips make their way to the market

I know the sale of Greektown in Detroit (which was to be re-branded as Jack Detroit, but it never happened) is going forward.

There is talk of Gilbert wanting to own other sports teams, which requires divestment of casinos in his ownership portfolio.

One of the dealers told me that an announcement will be made next week. The unofficial word around here is back to Horseshoe.
Also heard his motivation had to do with sports gambling. If sports books get legalized here, he wouldn't be able to own them...whilst still owning the Cavvies. This picture doesn't show it, but the snappers are super bright...like a hot pink.
