The idea of a "Chip Olympics" has been bantered about at various meet-ups. I know @Jeff had some good ideas at the Hitching Post, but I failed to commit them to memory at the time. @slisk250 has brought it back up again, willing to host the first Chip Olympics at the Divide in August.
While I could perhaps come up with a handful of events, I was wondering what other chip-related events the community thinks would be a good test of chip handling skills.

What I have so far...
- Barrel Cut - Participants are given a stack of 25-35 chips, and get a single attempt to cut out 20 chips in 3 seconds or less. Cut must be made in a single movement. Multiple round event, using Paulsons, ASM/CPCs, Ceramics, and China Clay (if available). 20 points for each round, minus 1 for each chip a cut is off.
- Splashed Pot - 100 chips in 3 different denoms are mixed into a splashed pot. Participants must pull the pot, then stack the chips into sorted stacks, with no stack containing more than 20 chips. Timed event. A dirty stack is a 1 minute penalty for each dirty chip. A stack of more than 20 chips is a 30 second penalty for each chip. Largest denom must be visible (out front or on top).
- Mold Identification - Participants must identify the type of CPC/ASM Mold, without looking. They may touch, shuffle, taste (ok, maybe not taste) the chips. Number of chips to Identify depends on the number of different molds available. Timed event. Misidentification of a chip is a 1 minute penalty.
