What's missing here? (1 Viewer)

I don’t even understand how someone could argue that a hot dog is not a sandwich. At most, one could argue that it’s an open-faced sandwich.
And this is why you are my legal counsel.

The Milk Duds are a no for me, dawg.

I can't think of anything else anymore when I hear "Milk Duds" after watching this movie:

Witch hazel is useful as an astringent product which is used topically to dry, reduce swelling, and also to reduce superficial bleeding. Hospitals have used witch hazel topical wipes for post-partum women (non-C-section) for a long time. I felt that it was appropriate as a health care professional to interject here, and this shall be my only useful contribution to this thread. Peace, out.

Can be helpful. Light burns will always be associated with local edema (swelling), so it should help with that. I would not expect the witch hazel itself to have counterirritant properties and probably not directly responsible for soothing discomfort outside of its properties to reduce swelling, but many commercial preparations come with other ingredients that would help with this.

I would caution against using witch hazel or other topical products if there is significant injury to the skin layer itself (i.e. second degree burns or significant excoriation).

P.S. I am not licensed to give out professional advice in the any jurisdicion outside of British Columbia, Canada. So don’t sue. I don’t have any money, anyway.

As a super cool dude who I still rememeber trying to help me out from my first days here (shoulda jumped on one of those offers!), what’s your actual job? Crazy cool the varied backgrounds here and amount of sh*t I learn in between the BS.

So much I want to say about this, so so much.

Pining for the old days has never gotten anybody anywhere, but damn I miss the first years of this site and, more so, the vibe and the people.

There are some class A assholes that are gone (and talking about karma I hope chip karma catches up to a few haters based on the small info I have gathered about the boat chips), but I miss some of the good people that used to post here. I miss quality discussions.

it seems like it’s quantity over quality in a lot of people’s posting styles now. Threads turn into the same four or five users names posting 1-5 word posts of the same inane “joke” over and over and over in every damn thread it seems. sometimes I feel like compared to the “good old days” when I’m reading a thread on one of my favorite sites it’s like I’m trying to look through an email inbox that has been overrun with spam to find that one email I need.

bleh time marches on. Just have to get used to it I guess.
Really? ... "You guys suck now that the good people left. I wish you guys were more interesting." Weird way to elevate the convo.

Wait? My old stand by isn't a good start?
