I ran out of scrown chips but was getting close.

Thanks, I'm good on the large for now. If I can jump in on someone's small crown order I'll take a rack of any color next time they run.

Something else that may be making it harder for you. Your dies were designed for Amold with 7/8 diameter stamp.
Both crowns used 3/4 diameter only.

I'm having a couple sets of dies made soon, I'll have one sized for the large crowns and see how it works.

I went with the Aurora's to duplicate the dies you tried

Actually, looking at yours I'd say they are sized right for small crown but too large for large crown.

@AK Chip Are you planning to work out the bugs to stamp on Disq? If so... I’ve got 140 Rising Sun dimes waiting to be stamped.

maybe @David Spragg has some samples of Disq that can be sent over for science...
Do you have the chips and dies? I think I might be able to get some practice chips from k9dr.

They will and I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. I had a decent stamp and only used a few chips dialing it in.

So I think your fd Scott

Well this info comes just after my foreign oil company (against the rules to name them on social media) gifted all employees with multiple Restricted Stock Units on the local exchange...now earmarked for custom dies.

@AK Chip I don't have dies yet... I have artwork. I was planning to try to "rework" the chip prior to sending back to Spragg to get them stamped. It is my impression that some amount of "scraping" is required of that chip in order to get it flat enough to get it to stamp. This was info from cgraham. He was going to do it originally for my set, but his non-chipping workload prevented that from happening. Seeing what you've done with the scrown gives me hope.

I was going to get dies trough Spragg. Do you have a source? I have heard of cheaper outlets than the dies Spragg uses.
