I decided to have a Thanksgiving bounty (get it?) tournament, and decided we might as well benefit the local T4T program. $15 and a new toy got you 10K and a $5 bounty chip, plus extra chips for bringing an additioinal toy. We also had add-ons: a $5 donation to T4T got you 5K at the break, and $10 got you 10K.
Broke out my new Monaco Casino chips. Yep, sluggers, but they're actually pretty nice. I prefer them to CC Majestics and Dunes. They feel pretty decent, and are about as slippery as Matsuis. For the bounty chips, I used a mix of $5 chips from my collection: DDLM, LCO, HS Cinci, Key West, Intercontinental, etc.
Here's a pic of the crew. We had 7 runners. (I'm the good looking guy behind the iPhone.
)
Marty was the early chip leader after a rebuy and a couple MAJOR river suckouts. Of course, he ended up busting out first.
Speaking of crazy internet poker river cards, the night had about 10 of them. It was a little ridiculous.
KK was all-in on the flop. The 2nd J came on the river.
KQ was all-in pre-flop for his tourney life.
And the last hand was a fitting end for the night. 22 jammed pre-flop for his entire stack, Jd5d snap called.
Now for the T4T stuff: My guys were very generous. Nice haul of toys, plus $85 in cash donations.
All in all, a great night, and a ton of fun!
