If you aint switch hitting you are an amateur.
Listen, if you can hit home runs with a fastball, you don't need to learn how to hit a curve....

I don't know what that means, but hey... Jerking off yo.

If you only learn to hit fastballs...expect a steady diet of curve balls.

Waitwut?

BTW, Ken Griffey Jr turned 50. Let that sink in. Here is one of my favorite highlights of his, mostly because I was at the game with my brother.

Listen. If you haven't figured out I basically am a ten year old with access to money for chips by now....

And I was a Braves fan in the 90s. Then I found out about football and jerking off. No more baseball for me.

That sounded alot worse then I was expecting, but I'm leaving it.

God, Griffey is that old now? What the hell has happened to my life. Hahahaha

Uh, no.

VERY generally speaking (remember, I’m just a hack lawyer according to justsomedude), if GPI took in, say, $50,000, and made chips, then determined that the order was “fraudulently“ made, they would be able to keep the cost of goods sold (and possibly any related legal fees or other expenses) and only return the balance.

It appears that most people would rather whack each other off ITT, so dont think its worth the back and forth. But I would agree, dont commit fraud.

AND...everybody forgot the new rule. Every post MUST include pron

I thought this was the Hustler & Penthouse pron thread??

"MY, OH, MY!" RIP, Dave Niehaus. One of the best ever.

The deposit is in place to cover some or all of their costs. If they realize you are not someone they want to send chips to after the chips are made do you think they will just eat those costs of material and labour? You think they will send you back your money while absorbing the costs to make the chips?

I can guarantee you that they won't. They will tell you to get stuffed and I would bet on that. That is just how business works.

i am catching up with this thread very late..but again, you’re incorrect in your assumptions

Flooded markets are great for buyers that have been holding out and new chippers at least!

I’m a new chipper. This market is horrendous. Anything even remotely nice is thousands of dollars. As it stands, I’ll be slowly collecting from reliable sites as long as I can because I personally don’t have that kind of disposable income and in my opinion anything over $2 per chip is fleecing the market unless what you’re selling is rare or something. It’s too much.

I've listed racks and sets of Paulsons and Bud Jones for $1 per chip and under and gotten no bites...

It's a double edged sword for new guys. It used to be the "nice" chips were the PCAs and they cost a bit, but nothing like the 5-9 bucks a chip things are going for now. But, alot of the general sets for sale would have been snapped up immediately and not sitting around. This market, you at least can buy alot of these sets without needed to sit in the classifieds for hours refreshing. You can get some great sets, but the AS, BTP, and SB chips are just at a higher level for even me. Like I said in a previous post, chip collecting is a marathon, not a Sprint, unless your @Changster (and nothing against Changster. He's a great guy. . He just came in SWINGING)

Yeah, there were some years you could post nearly anything and if it was a reasonable price, it was moving that day. I'm still shocked those Hound Dogs are still available. It's quite a different game from years ago....

I am not all knowing, my wife would tell you that without asking. Care to elaborate?
