Ketogenic Way of eating... (1 Viewer)

Here's mine, started second from the bottom, drilled 4 new holes. My wife said I'm a cheap motherf#cker, lol, but its a nice reminder to keep going IMHO.

I too was wondering where the rest of his dinner was, LOL
I’m drinking wine with dinner and getting ready to go and enjoy my favorite smoke.
It’s all give and take. If I skip the baked potato (which should have been in the picture) I can drink the wine and have a rum and coke with my cigar. :D
I’ll hit the treadmill tomorrow as well, it’s definitely about finding the proper balance for one’s self.

OK, so I'm going to a "salad bar" for dinner tonight. There is a local establishment that is known for their killer salad bar. I'm not a big salad bar fan, myself, but this place is going out of business next weekend, so we want to go check it out before it's gone.

Is keto at a salad bar tough? I'm thinking that I pretty much can't touch any dressing. But much of the rest of it will be fair game. Right?

Just ordered my waffle maker. Will start coming up as suggested items with salad spinners and ultrasonic machines, and hotdog rollers pretty soon.

Salad bar should be easy and amazing and actually the best part of keto is blue cheese and ranch rarely have carbs.

The dressings should be fine. Stay away from the croutons. Blue cheese and ranch dressings, can’t go wrong!

I travel a ton for work and the Ruby Tuesday salad bar is a staple when i'm on the road. Stick with mostly green stuff and you'll be good - lettuce, spinach, brocolli, peppers. Top off with ham or salami or tuna if the have it. Avoid potatoes, carrots, anything that grows underground. Ranch and ceasar and blue cheese dressing are all good on keto, or just plain oil and vinegar. Stay away from any of the sweeter dressings and vinaigrettes.

Yupp skinny. I'd starve after that dinner lol.
If there’s one thing I’ve figured out after getting back in shape and maintaining it is this, if you eat right 75% of the time, you should be able to slack 25% of the time and maintain.
You have to reach your goal first or this method doesn’t work. (That’s the hardest part)
Coca Cola is my biggest weakness, 150 EMPTY calories per 12oz can. 30 minutes on treadmill burns about 300-325 calories. That equals 2 cokes for me.
This is the method of my madness when it comes to what I can and can’t put in me. :wow:
But it’s working. :ROFLMAO:

First time trying Dogfish Head Slightly Mighty.

95 calories, 3.5g carbs, and it's a solid IPA - the only low carb beer I've had that is not just drinkable but enjoyable. This will definitely scratch the beer itch between cheat days.

Definitely the best one I've tried so far, cheers!
