Top Hat Cafe Semi-Custom Paulson Set (1 Viewer)

I was very interested, I just figured the options are too many for me to even think I could get close. I’m a realist lol.

Love the new chips you picked though l, especially the $20.

I love the choice for the twenty too. Casablanca $500? I had a similar thought once but never followed through. Well done.

Yep, Casablanca $500 - the mustard color is a little darker in person compared to the mock

Also never knew Binion's $1s were ever THC until yesterday. I think I may need to upgrade in the distant future:

Your Empress set complete with $1s is one of my faves

Ugh...I sold those a while ago and have regretted it ever since but thank you! I posted those photos in that pron thread because I was feeling sentimental. Haha!

I think the colors of these are great if they were to replace my quarters, but I'm worried at a 314 spot pattern since the rest of the set has even spot patterns. Any thoughts?

Can you line them up in a picture? I think it'll be fine, since the spots progress still.

But I do really like your solid quarter.

Am I the only one who has OCD bothered by the 3-spot thing?
By the 3 spots being different colors? It is interesting: Lavender, Purple, White. I think I'd have to see it in person, to know whether or not it tilts me.

Or by 3 spot vs even spots? Because that doesn't bother me.

Doesn't bother me too much, but I understand where you are coming from.

Personally I prefer the existing solid frac. This set to me looks more retro/throwback with the elegant inlay and simple spot patterns. I think a solid frac works well for that kind of set. Although some of the new demons stray from that theme a little bit.

Mostly 3 vs even spots. But the 3-spot colors also throws things off a bit

Still one of my favorite relabel sets. I think we need some updated stack/splash pr0n!

Waiting on a shipment from our favorite magician - will get some up as soon as I get that!

I really like the solid color too. The only thing that slightly annoys me is that there are 2-solids in the set. Only 1 $500 and I feel like it fits - maybe not? The $2 may never get done and I only have 20 $20s...the idea was for a limit set with the $1s...so hard to remove the inlay from that chip though.

The green $25 really makes this set....Artwork is spectacular (maybe even the best one I've seen)

Since the 5c are 36mm the two solids don't bother me much... But I do get where you are coming from.

The $500 works fine I think, my comment was more geared towards the AS Quarter, even though that chip by itself is wonderful.

What is the actual $20? I much prefer the $25 in your current set. I don't think the spot pattern on the $20 is out of line, more just the color for a more "classic" set kind of throws me off I think.

Yeah the $2s are far out for sure. The $20 is a Casablanca $500. The yellow is more muted than the mockup. I haven't put a label on it yet so I am not sure if it fits.

The good news is that if I bought the Pleasure Point chips to use as fracs, that would really open up possible yellow $20s. I was trying to only pick chips with an even spot pattern. Yellow chips are already limited...

The other thing to consider is that the games I host DO NOT use the 5c chip. Although I did play with a new microstakes crowd last night at 10c/20c so maybe there is an opportunity for them to see the felt.

What do you guys think of this? Fits my weird OCD, but the blue chip color may be off

Dude that three spot blue chip is spectacular. I don’t care about the even/odd thing. You still get progression. In fact you get better progression than with your solid quarter (no spots to three to four to four x2 to four x3). I love it.

If you really wanted to stay even, you could go with the Paris $1. But I like this hot stamp a ton. Wish I could think of a use for it in one of my own sets....
