Morning (evening for most of you) prospective Matsui GB participants.
We noticed that not too many people indicated much interest in the thread for the secondary $5 with beige spots (plus I hate it
) so I've talked it over with my illustrious leader and she has agreed that we should consider switching it. We thought it would be good to open it up for comment and see what the groups thoughts are on the switch.
This is the current secondary 5
This is what we propose switching it for
Though in reality the base is this neon orange below. (same as we propose for the cali frac) it's just not possible to mockup the bright colours in the design tool. Stupid matsui.
This opens up some nice options
Please let us know your thoughts, and whether you are a buyer and it will affect your purchase decisions.
If you are not a buyer, please feel free to pitch in with opinions, but let us know whether these are non-buying opinions. We are trying to take on board comments from purchasers to allow maximum enjoyment and involvement in the outcome of the set.

And can we even get the endorsement of the slugged chip hating master himself @BGinGA. If not, Id be happy to hear one of your patented brutally honest posts. Everyone else has to be nice though.

As a standalone chip that would be awesome, but it would clash hard with the yellow 1 and I think it would be cool to have a yellow 1 and orange 5 combo as an option.
For reference here is lemon yellow on top and our proposed dandelion yellow spot below

I really like the secondary $5 and was planning to include it if I ordered. I find there's a lot of yellow in this set already and this secondary $5 offset that nicely. I'm still on the fence on ordering however so take my feedback with some salt n stuff. I dislike the orange chip with all this yellow. Having said that, I'd still grab a set even if this chip was left out.

- lavender 25c (3-spot, pictured below as 25c)
- yellow $1 (2-color 6-moons, pictured below as $20)
- orange $5 (9-dot, pictured above, sorta)
- black $20 (3-color 6-spot, pictured below as $100)
- white $100 (3-color 6-moons, pictured below as $100)
I'd prefer more contrast on both the lavender and orange chips, but beggars yada yada......

Well that would certainly be doable, all of those chips are on offer.
In case you hadn't seen it, that's roughly what the lavender frac looks like on the sample kit (the non-bright kit anyway)
The contrast on the orange chip should be greater in reality than the mockup tool suggests (hopefully)

Ah man, and the yellow $1 was added specifically for YOU. Too bad it disappointed. Glad you found something that works.
I'm still in for a set. I had the same worries as BG about the purple frac until I saw the live sample image--just posted again--posted earlier in the thread. In those it looks good to me, and I trust your guys' judgement who have it in hand. The only minor thing I was a bit bummed about was the change of the third spot on the green $25. I liked the darker one, but still not sure which $25 I'm going to order and it won't affect my decision in the end anyways.
All said, I'm really happy with the work you guys have done so far and I'm looking forward to getting my hands on these.

If we replace the dark spot with black, it looks like this, better?? ( my dog ate the super dark green, so black has to be a temp-substitute....damn dog!)
