I realize this is late for you, but posting for posterity...
The area on the right with the green/brown table is about 11'x 12'. I'd suggest that's the actual bare minimum but you'd ideally want more.
Everyone can get in/out/move around with minimal/no fuss.

But good news - the space we designed is 15 1/2' x 13', and has the bar in the separate passthrough to the side, so it doesn't take up space in the room itself.
