Hi, first post here!
I buy Ying Yang 8-stripe poker chips in bulk to make into tokens for tabletop game I play. I’ve been making and selling them now for about two years. Thing is the quality of the chips has really gotten bad. When I first started ordering they were all clean and pretty much perfect. Now a good amount have colors that run through the white leaving nasty looking marks I can’t remove. When I remove the stickers sometimes there’s hardly any plastic and I can see the metal base. Is this common for this kind of chip? It’s like this for all the green, black, and red, but never for the blue, yellow, or pink. I’m currently paying $96 for 1,200 and no shipping which when I subtract for unusable chips they are costing me around 10-12 cents a chip.
Should I just stick to getting this deal? Should I talk to the distributor about it? I can seem to find any deal anywhere near as good. Thanks for your time.
