It's like aliens got all the pieces to build a poker table but didn't know what a poker table was and had no instructions on how it went together. What a waste of materials.

This is the 3rd time this table has popped up on this thread, so I'm going to throw in a little quick analysis that might support this table not being as bad as it would appear.
At point 1, The foam looks curled under, like there is a giant wooden platform in the middle of the table. This is why it landed in this thread, and is probably still available.
Points 2 and 3 tell a different story. 2 appears to curl down toward the table, and 3 actually looks to be lifted above the speed cloth. This leads me to think that this is a piece of veneer laying on the speed cloth, and not actually affixed to the table. If the veneer were to curl just slightly along the long edges, hard lighting from above could be reflected off the wood, onto the speedcloth causing it to slightly "wash out" in the photograph, creating a white line - which creates the optical illusion that is is set into the table. Exactly as you see it in point #1.
