When working on these chips to remove marker the inlays were damaged so I removed them.

On one side of each chip there is this little foil circle. There is a very slight indent when removed.

These are fantasy pyramid chips.

The whole fantasy aspect is what confused me. Doesn't look like there is much to it either.

That was my pic.

As I recall, it wasn't an RFID, just a very thin piece of foil. At the time the best we could figure is that it was used for table games to detect when a chip was on a certain section of the table (for bonus bets and such). But that was speculation on our part, not sure we ever figured it out definitively.
