I can't think of any game where a quarter and a 500 would both be in play though.

You're probably right, but I'm thinking of it from a supply management/fullfillment perspective. If there's a color that is used for multiple denoms then the odds of me sending the wrong chip to someone go up significantly. Similarly, if I'm placing a reorder at a glance then I can't as easily do it simply by color.

All designs are very good imo.
C, D, E are better because there's less overall white and stacks/pots will be easier to distinguish.
Those 3 are too close to call so I'd be happy with either.

This combination and simplistic design is fantastic, I know you said you don’t want to do a whole set but I personally think that would be a huge mistake.

I agree 100% I would get a 1200+ chip 30 person tournament set of these clean modern ones. With the other selected busier design I'm only getting a small 10-person 350-400 chip set.

This design seems to be the easiest to see all of the denominations at arms length.

Much nicer to see the whole lineup. I’ve changed my mind.

A and A2 are definitely saturated with white and that is going to cause issues.

B is my new first pick, the lighter undertones on the leaf are accented by the edge spots, everything seems to work together.

C is a close second, the darker tones keep the focus on the denomination.

D the contrasting black and white make this way too busy, very distracting.

E The black ring pops out and it’s all I can see. I feel like if I played a game with these I would see black rings in my sleep.

Wow 10k is quite a reasonable number. if there was a 100k and a bounty chip and maybe designed as a tournament set so you could drop the $1 and use the blue for 25K and tan for 100k

With the white text rings or black text rings, the chips look too "same."

I also wouldn't be against alternating the light background with the dark background... so, for example, the 1 from a B set, the 5 from the C set, the 25 from the B set, the 100 from the C set... or vice-versa. This would bring a little extra contrast between adjacent denominations...

If they're the same, why do you care?

Seriously, though, the decimal place is easily missed, PLUS the decimal place isn't a period everywhere. Some places use a comma. Avoiding it as well as not having a currency symbol keeps the set international.

The .25 is also easily confused for the 25 chip. Unless there's a 20 instead of a 25, I much prefer 1/4 to .25.

Thought about that, but you lose the "enhanced contrast" feature.

Also, though I know CPC doesn't charge extra for two-sided chips, this company might.

Lastly, complexity leads to more errors... on the other hand, some people here love finding error chips...

Interesting idea!! I would say that the bottom arrangement would be needed though as the yellow 1000 chip with the light background is very difficult to read at a distance. The darker version works fine though.
